Utility Gundog Ability Tests are designed to evaluate, recognise, and award dogs that conform to the minimum standards of conformation, performance, and temperament.
All registered Utility gundogs are eligible to compete.
There are two levels of competition, Novice & Open.

These events have been approved in Australia since 2009.
What natural instinct do Utility Gundog Ability Tests bring out?
Dogs are required to complete a conformation examination, and pass tests involving obedience, retrieving, trailing (tracking), and field work.

All States and Territories in Australia are eligible to conduct these trials.
